An original taste of Sate Ayam of Nganjuk, Indonesia

Sate Ayam (chicken barbeque) is a typical food in Indonesia that can be ordered anywhere in the City. Indonesia has the largest chicken consumption next to noodles. Kota Nganjuk is located in the Eastern part of Java Island in Indonesia.

Unlike in most Asian countries like the Philippines, soy sauce and calamansi syrup are the main ingredients in marinating barbeque while sauce been used in the making of sate ayam is made of kecap manis (sweet sauce) mix with peanut paste or ground peanut, fresh sliced onions and seasonings.

The taste is very unique and flavourful, serve in stick with a slice of tender meat! Must try when visiting Indonesia! Makanan yang ENAK!
