San Jose | Grace Island, the Maldives of the South

Airline Flights are available from NAIA terminal 3 and Clark bound for San Jose (SJI) Airport for less than one hour ride. At the Airport, take a tricycle ride going to Aroma Beach, where the booking office is located. 

San Jose can also be reached through land and sea travel by Roll on-roll-off (RORO/ Bus) transport system with a terminal in Cubao, Sampaloc, Alabang, and Pasay City. From there, look for the schedule of Buses or book an early seat especially on fixed seasons for P1, 100 – P1,300 pesos fare (US$21 -$25 ) including the ferry ride. Travel time would take 12 hours to reach  San Jose.    

From locals from Batangas City (where port hub is located), ferry boat has two (2) route enable to reach San Jose; bound for Abra de Ilog (3 hours), bound for Calapan where fast craft (45 minutes ride) is available and direct route going to San Jose (12) hours.   Upon reaching Calapan and/or Abra de Ilog, ride a Bus or commuter Van bound for San Jose then, ride a tricycle going to Aroma beach / Caminawit Port. Wait for the schedule of the motorboat service going the island which normally at 9:00 in the morning while. Travel time takes less than two hours!
